    FREE BBSB !!!

How much repair is needed? Not sure I could swing it but I'll be in Ellenville, NY about a hour away the 4th of July weekend. I'll bet it's long gone by then. Sweet looking boat.

    Just one fish

Nice cat! Our resident momma mallard that nests in our tree has hatched and all ready vanished. Currently we have 4 pairs of geese with roughly 12 goslings each running up and down the river bank. Turkeys in the woods across the street. I haven't seen any fawns but they are here. Also fox with...

    Hunting History Meet Up !

Looks like I'll be a day late. I have to have the wife to O'Hara Sunday morning for a flight out for work. Can't convince her to go to a decoy show.

Change To Federal Mallard Pop Goal and Impact on Seasons

This has been interesting and everyone has made some valuable thoughts to ponder. I live on the Mississippi River where the river runs East to West I watch several waterfowling sites as I'm sure you do to. Many state the migration only goes to the snow line these days as winters don't get cold...

I don't know about this shotgun gizmo.

Not going to lie. I've never been good at pass shooting or guessing range over open water. For $20 bucks I may have to try one. To be able to sell through Amazon they must sell a few.

Change To Federal Mallard Pop Goal and Impact on Seasons

Perhaps you're right Dave and don't get me wrong, I have no problem with Native Americans regaining federal lands they've lost over the centuries. I wrote it the way I read it from another post on the web. Of course I'm not in the area and can't verify so far that any of the refuge land was in...

Had to position the dock today

Two poles and two tie outs. I'm in a slough that normally doesn't have much current. The poles will sink to about 4' into the bottom mud and will hold good. The walk way will also have spud poles. The tie outs are earth anchors set in concrete with ropes tied to the pontoon as a safety feature.

Change To Federal Mallard Pop Goal and Impact on Seasons

I agree with Rick's statement. "But it bothers me that while we are seeing habitat loss, drought, and other negative factors, the USFWS is modifying the model to keep liberal seasons with fewer ducks." If you read the attachment below and many others out there, I believe it would become a...

Had to position the dock today

The ole Mississippi River is doing it's spring thing and is on the rise a bit. Today was a good day to reposition the dock so it will be floating in the right location once the pool returns to normal. I had the opportunity to try out the new Kobuk neoprenes I bought back in the winter since the...

For the machinists on the site

Hi Dani, Hi Dani, As I'm sure you are learning this subject has become quite a science. I was a designer for LMT. A manufacturer of AR style firearms and accessories. My area was mainly design/revisions of lowers, trigger mechanism, forearm, stocks, grips and accessories placement when they...

    INTERstate? Oh Really!

When going down to Arkansas to see the wife's dad we take I35 through Iowa then south. To bypass Kansas City we get off I35 was take the I435 exit that says St Louis. The first few times after that route was opened we blew right past it and ended up in downtown Kansas City, once pulling a 30ft...

    Minn Kota TM Prop Nut

That won't help as your wrench will over power the motor Im afraid. At this point I'd get the angle grinder out and cut that prop off. I think that shear pin is 1/8" dia. I'd hit Home Depot and check their material selection for a piece of 1/8" steel stock or a long 1/8" drill bit. Lock it down...
