Barnegat plans on Mylar

Well he gave it to me, and even if I?m slowly giving up duck hunting, this is going to be framed and placed in my work shop.

I am still confused by this....

Typically you will want plans on Mylar as the paper can shrink due to humidity changes. This is the reason for the scale in the upper left corner of the plan when taking off lines for boatbuilding.

I have several copies of the plans from the Smithsonian from Americas Small Sailing Craft book, they all have the ASSC plate number on the lower left corner.
