Cleaning Decoys?

I am looking for advice on cleaning decoys in prep for the season.

Currently my rig consists of a variety of plastic blocks. Maybe some day I will have the time and money to have handmade decoys, but it will probably be after the kiddos fly the coop.

Has anyone ever tried wiping them down with armorall??

Thanks!

I used spray on foamy engine brite or tire cleaner for several years. Brings back out the color in decoys. Don't do this if you like dull decoys because this will put a shine on them.

You can clean them? LOL.

Put me in the "mud takes the shine off, and that's good" camp. Then again, I mostly hunt black ducks and a few mallards and early season teal.

I do like the white on my whistler decoys as bright as possible.

I use Armorall on my plastics to clean I brighten them up every year, i generally do it in the summer, but a trip or two to the marsh and the shine is gone.
