For those that hunt and fish do yourself a favor

Please read The View From The Hill By Charles F. Waterman in the April, 2024 issue of Gray's Sporting Journal.

The story was first published in Gray's in 1984, and I was 34. I read it back then as I read all issues from cover to cover, and always enjoy Mr. Waterman's writing. I'm now 74, and all things that are ahead for the aging outdoorsman that are in the article have happened to me one way or another. For you younger folks read what is ahead IF ya make it to the senior division of our lifestyle. For those already there, read, chuckle, and nod yer head yes cuz you certainly know what he wrote is the truth. The story alone is worth the price of admission.

Hi Vince-I loved that article, and I love everything Charles Waterman ever wrote(at least that I read). There are so many things to ponder in his writing, and much of it is far away from fishing, and insightful for those that really read what is there.
