Glue for ribs ?

Any suggestions for what type glue to use. Glueing the ribs to plywood on a BBSB here. Titebond 2? anyone use liquid nails?

We have started to plan out the next BBSB. Has anyone used Cypress in a build. Here in s. Ohio there are not a lot of choices on boat building material. But Cypress seem to be readily advailible.

Definately epoxy. Until you use the stuff you cant understand the capabilities and strength. As far a cypress goes, I believe it has alot of natural oils which inhibits glue bonding properties. Some others may have more info but I think I recall you have to wipe it down with some type of solvent to remove these oils on the bonded surface prior to gluing.
