March - What's on your workbench ?

Boz,

Good morning, Bob~

I really like the aerial view - showing how all the the feathers radiate outward. TONS of style - and ART, too!

All the best,

I've got so much stuff on the floor in front of the workbench I couldn't open the doors to overfill them to not get them closed again

The more I look at it the more I think "damn that's a clean shop!"

Here's a Drake Mallard Gunner I made a couple of years ago - but just spruced it up to donate to a local "game dinner". It seems, though - that for 3 or 4 years now - I miss the dinner because I am off to Long Island for some waterfowl adventure. Sure enough, we've got "duck projects" on the Island again next weekend....

This bird is hollow White Pine finished in acrylics.

Note the 2 different backdrop colors.

Excellent work from everyone so far this month. I enjoy seeing what the pool of talent comes up with every month. I may not be at the level of skill of everyone else. Rarely do I get any comments on my work, but I like to share what I'm up to anyways. Here's another BWT, cedar body, Basswood head, hollow, oils.

Like that feather stampingPat, can,t wait to see them finished, & I,m sure your friend will be quite happy with that speckle belly , !
Very nice BWT Jeffery , very nice,
Carl is that a foamer you finished ?

Yep, foam with three coats of mastic, no burlap. We'll see how they hold up.
Floated it in a bucket, floated nice & level. I was pleasantly surprised!

Jeff, I like the blended top of your side pocket. The little darker value brushed in the base give it nice depth.
