Had a great time yesterday hunting ducks in a cow pasture. A few of the cows visited the blind, some even ate it. Then one decided to lay down. Great "confidence decoys"!!

My wife met a women in her Japanese Ladies Club here that has a small farm w/cows, ~30 acres, southeast of Tampa, I am hoping she will let me hunt it next year for hogs, dove, ducks, etc....

Apparently they are not gun shy. Isn't it illegal to hunt over live decoys?

(A) Honestly surprised the farmer lets folks hunt in a pasture that is in use.
(B) Those "cows" don't seem to have udders, maybe they're steers and thus a bit more tolerant of gun fire?
