Even though I SHOULD be filling decoy orders - duckboat work has been taking all my time of late - I did repair and re-paint this LLBean Canada. And, seeing all of the great work this month, I had to jump on the bandwagon.
I will be posting a Tutorial when I have the time - mostly because of numerous requests for this species with my usual Home Depot/Behr's paint approach to gunners.
This is the straight gunning paint job - the "half-gunshot away" style that is all anyone needs. I will be adding some feather edgings for those who prefer to go the extra yard on their own rigs.
After a short period of cooler weather, we were back in the 60's for the last week of the early Tri-State splits. Seasons will go out this weekend and return around Thanksgiving to run through the end of January.
Wednesday was overcast so I went anyway....it beat raking leaves ;-)
Took some decoy pics and explored some new backwaters to hunt.
