Thank you for the edit Chuck, coudn't remember the other winners names.
I am fortunate to have known Pete for over 25 years and have seen the quality of his work evolve year after year.
He constantly seeks to improve what already looks like the perfect decoy and every year they only get better.
A few years ago we were hunting without Pete and walked away from our decoy spread to check the other
side of a small island. When we arrived back at the spread I'm counting six black ducks but was pretty sure
we put out five black duck decoys. It actually took a while to figure out which one was the real one. Tried to convince my
buddy to shoot it and he thought I was kidding and attempting to convince him to shoot one of Pete's deks!!!
Congratulations to a generous friend and very well deserved!!!
