Someone from the NE should go rescue this old boat

I'd be interested in what some of the expert scullers around here say, but I've never seen such a high profile, short sculler before. Is it really 1920's?

That boat has been on Craigs List for a few weeks now and I keep thinking it would make a nice display piece for vintage decoys. Its short length and not knowing anything about it would still have me skeptical even if I had the room.

I would have to say it looks too short to be any good as a sculler...needs length and a full keel to keep it tracking and prevent waggling (is that a word?). Even though it has what looks like a scull oar hole...it's too high to be effective as a sculler. That may well have been used for some....sculling to move from one place to another but not as a true sculler.
