While this is not a decoy show, there has been a growing decoy section. I have hung out my shingle as a boatbuilder at this show in the past and now plan to do so with decoys. There are many sections and events... to many to list, but suffice it to say the variety is extensive; boats, dock dogs, birds of prey, flyfishing, dog breeders, turkey call makers, sporting art, auctions, dinners, elk guides, duck guides Conservation groups, etc.

This all takes place in Charleston, S.C. Feb 15-18.

Seeing as most of these events are less than a block from where I'm currently living....I'm definitely going to be there
 
SEWE is an excellent show and a great time! When we lived in Charlotte, we went every year for about 10 years. My wife and I have only been back once since moving, but we talk about it every year. We used to get some great deals at the SCWA art auctions and the DU oyster roast is a helleva good time! Man, I want to go!!!!
