Looking for some good overhead photos of wood ducks . Anyone have any links ? Drake and hens . I have some good profile patterns made but I'm still not happy with the plan view .

Did you try google? There are a ton of pics of all type of waterfowl.Good Luck!!!

I tried googling wood duck and then clicked on images. It takes you to a sheet of about thirty images of a drake in various poses. Two are from an above perspective and can be enlarged.

Anatomy of a Waterfowl for Cavers and Painters, by Charles W. Frank, Jr.
Those three books cover the subject pretty good, and are worth the money. If you love to watch, carve, hunt and eat, Wood Ducks aka "Acorn Eaters". The hens are my most favorite of all puddle ducks.
