    Truck Tire thoughts

I am on my second set of Toyo R/Ts on my tacoma and have no complaints. I have several of my loggers running them on everything from F-450s to 1500s and all of them love them as a road and offroad tire. I also had the Michelin ltxs and hts on a dually and was not pleased with the tread but had...

    Kara Hummer project advice

I picked up a new project today that may wind up being more of a project than I was hoping for. It has a few soft spots and by that I mean the entire hull has a little give to it. Fiberglass seems to be in decent shape however. It has a split on each end of the cockpit where I think the problems...

    Shotgun of Choice?

I grew up shooting older A-5s and still do occasionally for dove and quail. I have acquired several more A-5s now, a 12 lite and 12 mag, along with a 20 of each, and a sweet 16. I used to shoot an M-2 20ga but is has now become my future wifes gun. When I moved to Florida I came across a Nova 12...

How was everyone dealing with this virus scare?

So far so good in Perry, WinnDixie does have tp again but no cleaning products. Most food items are available and a few restaurants in town are open for take out or limited seating. I was able to find some handgun ammo at Gold and Guns in the city though Dani if y'all need a few more boxes they...

    Busick layout boat

I've got a 2 man busick I picked up a 2 seasons ago. I would consider selling or trading for a one man but I would be more than happy to give you some measurements if needed.

    Yard Sale decoys

It makes a good tender boat for this part of the gulf and only drafts 7 inches with a full load. I can get after the reds and trout year round so I based my boat selection off of that. I've got to put some tread on the sponsons to reduce the friction, almost lost some teeth last week on them.

    Yard Sale decoys

The buffleheads in the picture are actually re-purposed green head gear Gadwall decoys that were beat up and cheap. Thanks for the answers on the Herters y'all

    Yard Sale decoys

Found a yard sale last week that had some miscellaneous duck hunting stuff and the lady said next week I'm bringing some Red Head decoys, so for 4 dollars each with texas rigs I got to bring these home. Not to bad a deal I reckon. When I first picked these up I sent a the pic to my father...

An unforeseen milestone in my hunting career.

I was able to get out a fair amount this season and wound up with one bufflehead and two mergansers. Learning a new area has been tough for sure, moving from north georgia I had high hopes for this season since there are certainly more birds down here but I sure do miss my college days in...

Maybe we will finally get some Cormorant relief

Hopefully this will lead to a season on these things. They eat around a pound of fish per day per bird and how many do you see while you're in the blind? I guess my biggest question is what do y'all think these taste like...

    Crabbers Gloves??

Those gloves are proudly made in Menlo, Georgia where I was raised. High quality products made by high quality people. I have a super dipped pair that I use repairing electric fence that are thick enough we don't have to turn the fence off.

    Looking at a new boat

Not at the moment but if I wind up with it I'll be putting one on it. I'd be running around the big bend area for the most part which is why I'm leaning towards a metal boat in the first place.

    Looking at a new boat

While it is not exactly a duck boat I plan on using it as a tender for a layout and to fish the rest of the year. Its a 18 foot Xpress with a tunnel hull. Do any of y'all have experience with these? I have only ran glass flats boats previously so the aluminum boat world is new. The motor is an...

    North Fl Decoys

Thanks Dani! I'll keep the restrictions for Leon in mind. I may wind up picking through and repainting some rough looking mallards for divers and pick up some teal as well.

    North Fl Decoys

I've recently moved to Taylor County but grew up hunting North Ga/ East Al and Ms Delta. I've got a pile of decoys but most are mallards. Is there any use in dragging them to Florida or should I invest in Teal, redheads, and divers? Also have a 2 man busick I'm debating on bringing south, is it...
