I can't wait to! The more mud and blood the better. As long as its duck blood Lol.

Beatiful job. I am going to Tuckerton on Sunday and looking forward to seeing the boat. I have done a few restorations on sneakboxes myself and know how much work it is to complete such a task.

Mark,
Bad news the sneakbox won't be at the show. I didn't wanna enter it because Bill Simonsen helped me with most of the wood work. Bill is also entering a rebuilt Vansant sneakbox and didn't want to compeat with him. I called and was told it was not a good idea to just take my sneakbox there and park it. I will be leaving it home.

Chris,

Great job. Who made your dodger? I need to replace mine.

I have a friend who is a seemstress and she sewed it up for me. She did a great job I am very happy with it. I kinda stole Dave D's design. It really wasn't that hard. After an hour I was doing a good bit of the sewing. I still need to sew grass loops on and do the snaps.

Another option is call the mighty layout boys. You can buy the dodger from there chuck huff. They will be at the Tuckerton show and can probably bring you one. That was a route I almost took. Good luck.

I got the inside and floor boards painted yesterday. I will screw them in today. I had to make the front 22inches removable so the gas tank would fit under the foward deck. Later today is the big day me and a buddy are taking her out to the river for a test run. I can't wait. If all goes well I will post up pics tonight.

Good luck and have fun with her. get some pictures on her in the water to share with us. great job Chris

Chris , Great job and good luck with the maiden voyage! Stop by the show and say hi next weekend. I am on the park beach next to the Nj waterfowlers pavillion.

I'm surprised they told you not to bring the boat? Did you talk to German? I was under the impression anyone displaying a traditional boat got a free space in the park. You don't have to compete the boat, just have it on display. I have some friends that did this for many years, just put a sign on the BBSB,

"Display only, not for competition, Do not judge"

I talked to mary I think I can't stay all day sat I have to work sat night at 6 so I don't wanna run back home drop off the boat then run to work but I will be there all day sunday

Sounds like a good plan Chris. BTW most everyone leaves their stuff Sat. night, they have guards at the park til folks arrive Sunday. You'll have more freedom to enjoy the show with out a spot though.........

Got her in the water today it was great to take her for our 1st ride. It was awesome to see all my hard work pay off. Here are a few pictures of the maiden voyage. Thank you to everyone who has helped me along the way and the thought, comments, and ideas. I can't wait till duck season.
