I once had a Mossberg 640 K .22 mag that had the same problem . It seemed like the plastic grip/triggerguard had shrunk and straightened so it didn't fit the curvature of the grip. I made a replacement out of steel bar stock, using drill press, hacksaw and files.

The label "special steel" on Belgian made A-5's means made of special steel, NOT that it is in any way intended to be used with steel pellet loads. Check with Browning - they will tell you exactly that. Bob
